Anybody who has ever been successful will tell you that they have failed many times, “winners aren’t people who never fail, but are people who never quit.”

The best way to move forward and be successful is to acknowledge your failures and have the wisdom to apply what you have learnt in your future. Remember it’s a journey and it’s important to try and enjoy your journey while you’re trying to get to your destination.

I know sometimes it’s extremely difficult to enjoy anything when you’re having such a hard time but I always told myself during those times “I may not be where I want to be but I thank God I’m not where I used to be.”

It always helps knowing how far you’ve come and it encourages you to keep going despite however many times you feel like you have failed.

Embrace time and let go of anything that doesn’t serve you

The people you choose to have in your life will have a huge impact and influence over it so make wise choices because you can deeply improve your life by surrounding yourself with people who genuinely love, support and are there for you.

So remove anyone who you think is necessary and make that sacrifice for the sake of your life. Start to feel excited about this because these are people who no longer serve you, and who were harming you. This is a positive change although a difficult one and also painful. It’s going to put you on the right path and will even protect you as you no longer have these toxic people in your life.

My next advice to give you after letting them go would be to start healing from any pain you have endured from these relationships, otherwise they will still have power over you. Make sure to forgive them as well because forgiveness is for yourself and it will make healing easier.

Take the time to heal and “go through the healing process” use the healing process to nurture yourself, be kinder to yourself and develop as an individual to come out better, stronger and unstoppable!. Think of time as your friend because it’s amazing what it can bring for you. Time can change people’s opinions about you and even put you in control, flipping the game entirely so use it carefully and to your advantage.

Once you let them out of your life, get ready for good things to happen because you have released a dark cloud that was hanging over you and you are now free with a better chance of becoming successful and happy. This is definitely something to embrace as a blessing and you should feel excited at the bright future that you’re going to have.

Focus and eliminate

Focus on the important things in your life and eliminate everything else, this is a good strategy to use when you want to stay in control and simplify your life. It will help you build the life you want and reduce anxiety. Always be ambitious and aim high, if you’re not where you want to be in your life now then just keep believing and keep fighting to get there.

Positive thinking and working on yourself

Nurture your mind with positive thoughts, positive thinking is a key element to success. Do what you have to do everyday to stay positive! “Yes you’re going to have days when you feel overwhelmed and become filled with anxiety,” but the most important thing is to not stay there because the longer you do the more harder it’s going to be for you to bounce back.

Your thoughts will form your reality, “what you think Is what you’ll become,” it’s that simple. Take the time to work on yourself, understand you have weaknesses and be truthful with yourself about what they are.

This is the only way to move forward in the direction of success, the sad thing is most of us are our own enemy and have hindrances that hold us back. I am a strong believer in change because I am living proof that it’s possible as I have grown as a person and have changed for the better.

Anyone can change with the right kind of attitude, persistence and belief, if they really want to and they take the necessary steps into doing so without giving up.

Emotions

The most common emotion we all possess is fear and you need to understand it’s only an emotion and it only has power if you give into it. I always say “do it afraid” it’s ok to be scared just don’t let that hold you back from reaching your potential and going after your dreams.

We can not live our life based on how we feel period! otherwise we’ll never be successful or happy with anything. Our emotions should not rule our world nor should we give them complete power and control over us.
